This report analyses society's complex interactions from different points of view. We aim to focus on the structure and development of the services that citizens and businesses use to fulfill their needs, where possible in terms of ease-of-use and functionality.
By looking at average household spending, we will make common reference to a series of products chosen for their competitiveness; for many goods and services, however, this option is severely limited by a need for them to be purchased and used within a certain area. This category comprises the majority of local public services that constitute essential spending for consumers, families or businesses, and they are a cost that is incurred to belong to the social and local fabric. A large slice of the services for citizens is provided by the Public Administration.
